No fillers like miso soup, ice cream, or fruits. Just straight-up nigiri, sashimi, and handroll—Kinzan Omakase offers a choice of 13 courses for 69 or 16 courses for 89. You’re getting good quality, properly portioned omakase experience without breaking the bank. What we had: - Flatfish Sashimi - Salmon with Yuzu - Yellowtail with Pesto - Bluefin Tuna with Truffle - Hokkaido Scallop with Sea Salt * - Seasonal Squid - Torched Black Cod with Alaska Black Mushroom * - Albacore Tuna with Crispy Chili Garlic - Hokkaido Uni - Madai with Yuzu Kusho - Toro with Caviar * - A5 Wagyu with Foie Gras * - Barbecued Eel with Popcorn * my favorites The torched black cod was a highlight, while the toro with caviar and A5 wagyu handroll were truly decadent. Some unique toppings like pesto, crunchy chili garlic and popcorn added an exciting twist. In terms of service, the chef and the waitress were friendly and attentive. They explained every course before serving. For example, we were told that the squid was a seasonal dish for only three months. They even offered sake for every table on the house when we visited. Portion-wise, it was enough for me while my bf thought 16 courses would be more filling for him. You can enjoy one more sashimi and two more nigiri if you go for the 89 set.

69 for 13 courses (including uni, toro, and wagyu) was so worth the price. Food was delicious - the ingredients were fresh and the flavors of the sushi had some interesting twists to them. Staff were really sweet and friendly. Would definetely recommend.

Was an amazing experience!! The staff is super friendly and the sushi was exceptional!! One of the best places I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of expensive high end omakases. Great price, great people!!! Even gave us sake on the house with multiple refills!!!

Found a real gem in NYC - Kinzan Omakase on 6th Ave. This cozy spot brings high-end Japanese dining down to earth with prices that won't break the bank (89/person). The dinner takes about 2.5 hours, and every minute is worth it. The bar's stocked with great sake, and the cool Japanese artwork on the walls adds a nice vibe. Their sushi is super fresh, and the chefs know their stuff. Not too stuffy like some fancy sushi places, but still special enough for a nice date night or celebration. Pro tip: they open at 5 PM, and you'll want to book ahead. Worth every penny!

Kinzan Omakase was delicious! Party of 4 without reservations, were in luck they had seating available for lunch. Had the 69, 13 course omakase and everything was delicious. Favorites were the salmon, scallop, uni, otoro tuna. But it was all really good. Great value for what you get, with the fish being so fresh. They gave us sake on the house, which was a nice touch to our lunch. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!
